We are looking for a team-oriented and highly communicative individual to join our team. As an Operations Coordinator (Production Planner), you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include:

Dutch Barn Builders has been building sheds, garages, cabins and barns in this region for 50 years. We are family owned, our ownership is faith based, and we are closed Sundays. We are hiring Shed Sales Consultants to run our sales lots.
This is a job for someone who enjoys people, follows up without being reminded, and is on the lot when it is open.
Greet walk-ins, answer calls, and follow up on every lead
Walk customers through sizes, styles and options, and build their quote
Write up the order and collect the deposit
Log every lead in our CRM
Route bigger jobs – pole barns, garages, custom buildings – to our specialists, and earn a bonus when a job you sent closes
Post on social media to bring buyers to your lot
Build partnerships in the community you serve
Keep the lot clean and show-ready
Enjoy talking with people and helping them solve a real problem
Follow up reliably, without being asked
Are comfortable presenting a price and asking for the order
Stay organized and keep your own pipeline accurate
Want to build something in the community you live in
No shed experience is needed and we train you. Sales, retail or building-trades background is a plus. No degree required.
This role carries clear monthly sales goals, and you will know what they are from your first week. We measure production, close rate, pipeline accuracy, and follow-through.
We would rather coach than replace. Consultants who are putting in the effort and showing progress get support; the goals are there, so everyone knows what good looks like, not to catch anyone out.
